are you serious? have you heard of disturbing the peace? or perhaps being a public nuisance? i have friends who have had to attend court summons for both of these , and very similar events. Plenty of people also receive move on notices for this kind of behaviour.

I will cop stick but I hate to say it Ty is right. To quote Peter Garrett '' short memory must have a short memory ''. Remember the double header in Perth before they fought each other and Mundine insisted on being the last fight. Green beat Garcia by UD and made that speech about Mundine disrespecting him and for the crowd to let him know what they thought and they chanted '' Mundine's a wanker '' which was funny but when he KO'd Chong Nee and was leaving the crowd pelted him with bottles and Green was smiling with his bikie mates.

Police have to be called or be in attendance to give a move on notice and as long as you move on then no offence has been committed.

As for disturbing the peace, your next door neighbour could be using an angle grinder at night which is classed as disturbing the peace, its a minor offence and pretty fcking petty if i may add.

Quote:
Disturbing the peace is a minor criminal offense that may be charged when someone makes excessive noise, especially in a residential area, such as by operation of any tool, equipment, vehicle, electronic device, set, instrument, television, phonograph, machine or other noise- or sound-producing device. Local laws vary, so they should be consulted for specific requirements in your area
As Stiffler has pointed out, Danny incites crap like this during a mundine fight, fans pelting bottles etc, where was his moral high ground then? All he could do was smirk, never mention anything about the poor cunts who had to clean up the mess he incited. Green is and always will be a hypocrite cunt who lies through his teeth.

i was at that fight, there was maybe 3 or so plastic bottles thrown towards mundine, green was sitting with his father and actually publicly disapproved of said bottles being thrown at mundine after the fight. I have never seen green publicly associate with bikies or underworld figures.

Dear God!

#1 Danny was sitting right next to Alex Vella.
#2 It was WAY more than 3 or so bottles, it was a barrage of items being thrown at Mundine, he ran back to his changerooms and it was all caught on Video.
#3 Danny was smirking while the crowd was doing it. HE wasnt shaking his head or showing ANY sign of dissaproval.

Green unapologetic over baiting Mundine PRINT FRIENDLY EMAIL STORY
PM - Monday, 12 December , 2005 18:33:00
Reporter: David Weber

MARK COLVIN: The Perth boxer Danny Green is making no apologies for baiting and intimidating Sydney's Anthony Mundine at yesterday's bouts in Western Australia.

The fights ended with the local crowd pelting Mundine with bottles.

Green and Mundine both won their matches, and gave fans a taste of what to expect when the middleweights face each other next year.
Mundine would've been expecting a strong reaction in Green's hometown. Indeed, he fanned the flames himself in the days leading up to the fight by calling the local boy a "bum" and a "cockroach".

The psychological jousting, if we can dignify it with that term, clearly fired up the crowd at Perth's Challenge Stadium.
David Weber reports.
(sounds of crowd at match)

DAVID WEBER: Boxing fans are not known for their restraint but having Danny Green and Anthony Mundine in the same stadium was clearly too much for the Perth crowd.
(cheering)

Danny Green outclassed the Mexican Kirino Garcia over ten rounds. Green paid tribute to his opponent after the fight but he didn't have anything good to say about the next Australian coming into the ring.

DANNY GREEN: You've got a guy coming out next who's disrespected the lot of us. Let's give him the welcome he deserves. Simple as that.
(sounds of booing).

Who in this place wants to see Mundine get knocked out?
(sounds of cheering)

DAVID WEBER: Anthony Mundine walked to the ring to a chorus of cheers and boos, flanked by team members carrying the Australian and Aboriginal flags.

Then, as the referee was giving his instructions, Green chose the moment to take his seat to the inevitable loud cheers. It was a calculated move. It's that short period when the fighter returns to his corner, focusing on the job ahead, mouthguard in and concentrating. But Mundine bellowed at Green over the ropes, and warming to his "cockroach" theme, he stamped his foot in the ring.

The crowd was supporting whoever was fighting Mundine. In this case, it was a Samoan who's now boxing for New Zealand. But Mundine dominated. He finished Rico Chong Nee with three right hands in the third round.

COMMENTATOR: Is this it? It's over. Mundine…
DAVID WEBER: Mundine stomped around the ring. He said to Danny Green "You're next". Then he made a quick exit.
COMMENTATOR: And Anthony Mundine is out of here, is he?
COMMENTATOR 2: I think so.
COMMENTATOR: Wow. He is going to be rushed away. Anthony Mundine…
COMMENTATOR 2: They're throwing stuff at him…
DAVID WEBER: Mundine ran towards his dressing room under a hail of bottles and cups, some of them flying from the corporate boxes.
ANNOUNCER: By technical knockout, from the blue corner, Anthony, "The Man", Mundine.
(boos)

DAVID WEBER: The WA Sports Centre Trust says it's disappointed by the incident. The Chief Executive says the crowd was not incited to attack Mundine.

And this was Danny Green today.

DANNY GREEN: It was pretty insane. The crowd was…you just can't buy that kind of support. That was bordering on insanity. The crowd last night was just so good. It makes me very proud to be West Australian and to have that kind of hometown support. When you come out to an audience like that and they're just so behind you, it's pretty, you can't fathom it. It blew me away.

I thought it couldn't get better than the last time I fought here, and they upped the ante again, the Perth crowd. And yeah, you guys at home and that were there last night it was just insane, so thank you very much.

REPORTER: Just in that vein, what do you make of the treatment that Mundine got?
DANNY GREEN: When you come into town, when you're coming to Perth and you're coming to our town, you start disrespecting the public, that's what you get. They paid him back in kind.

DAVID WEBER: Mundine believes the taunts were racially motivated, but he says he's not surprised by the crowd's reaction.
Green and Mundine are expected to fight in either Sydney or Melbourne next year.

MARK COLVIN: David Weber in Perth.

I don't know who they were and it was ages ago but I think Mundine iced Chong Nee climbed on the ropes pointed at Green and did that throat slitting gesture and a heap of bikies sitting near Green stood up when he did it.
