Default McDonnell vs Ceja at Doncaster

It's been confirmed that Jamie McDonnell will face Julio Ceja for the IBF title, open air at Doncaster Rover's stadium on May 11th. It'll be billed as "History in the making for Doncaster".

Fantastic announcement. If McDonnell has any chance of winning a world title then it's this. What's your view?

Like you say, probably the best chance he's going to get.

Be interesting to see how Ceja adapts to fighting over here. Especially with the write up Ice gave the Keepmoat .

The Keepmoat is a weird stadium it's very modern but not big in height so I doubt the atmosphere will be great, but also with the roof being quite low the weather will have a bigger effect then it would at somewhere like Old trafford

It certainly is but I can't see them using the whole thing......Donny on a friday/saturday night is mental enough but if McDonnell pulled it off the roof would go in town

What is it, 15000 capacity? Plus another couple of thousand on the pitch?

It would be crazy if he sold that out. That would be one crazy night for Doncaster if he won too. He'd be Doncaster's biggest sporting hero since Dennis Priestly.
