is it televised anywhere?
I saw him fight live in Dudley last year and it was one of the best fights I've ever seen. the kid is controlled, tough and a fine little boxer, tonights for the British title, I wish him well. what are his chances and do you think he's got world title potential? |

i wudnt say comfortably josh took control early but chris came back at him and it was a very good fight where both lads got hurt (chris 4th josh 7th) and came back strong no complaiants wat so ever with the result. not taking anything away from josh but 18 months out of the ring didnt help chris on the night but thats boxing. any paying fan who saw the fight wud pay to see these pair fight again.

he'll likely just move on leaving Male in the dust, such is modern boxing. now if you had to fight good and hard with 40 - 50 fights under your belt before you get anywhere near Top titles, they'd likely meet at least 3 times. But those days will never return. |

I went to the fight last night. Warrington in total control i had it 9-1 i gave speight the 3rd. (only just).
examining Warringtons perforfance only confirms Thistle1s assesment of this young boxer. Its right to say also that he may be lacking in power generally, although once this kid planted his feet corectly he sent some crunching body shots both left and right. and it may not be too far away that we start to see him doing the same upstairs. I saw Warrington a couple of years ago also and its needless to say hes improving with each fight. Hes not ready for the bigger names at British level yet but certainly will be in the not too distant future if he carrys on accumalating his boxing awareness at this current rate. |

yeah I think Josh might be a fighter to watch, hopefully he'll get the support that others get, some far lesser fighters too.
Grab him up Frank or Mick or someone. |

That's some going, his fan base can only grow, would be surprised if one of the bigger promoters in Britain doesn't come in for him, decent prospect with a good following.
