Nevin at his best is a great watch, and he's been very successful in the WSB so far with only a couple of loses, and recently he beat a 12-0 pro in the comp.

Ward at 19, is really only a young lad in fighting terms, but with his potential he could be amzingly good in a few years. He can box and counter well, come forward and pressure an opponent and he's got great speed, strength and size for a light-heavyweight He is going to be unbelievably when he does eventually go pro. He's been looking really good in the WSB for the most part, so he's fulfilling peoples expectations.

Both would make world class pro's though imo, pity it'll be a while until we seen them make the switch.

I think Ward has got great potential, I do worry about his fitness though he never looks that lean and seems to tire pretty quickly at times.

Have a good one, Selby is amazing to watch live

How does the scoring work over the QFs? Do they take the aggregate over both cards?
Aye, if its even at the end of both QFs there is 1 additional fight to decide it all

Decent performance by Ward & a comfortable win, looks a bit fitter in his last 2 fights imo

Brown always seems to get hit flush far too often for my liking, like he just doesn't see the shots coming

How did Conrad Cummings end up boxing for a Mexican team?

Every WSB francise has to include foreign fighters in their squads, most non European teams have a few Euros for their away fixtures & the Irish have been involved in WSB from the start.

Convincing win by Cummings, too strong & effective on the inside. Brown couldnt handle the pressure & the combination punching of Cummings, who looks like a decent fighter.

Selby up next

Would it be crazy if Selby goes pro after WSB to stick him straight in for the British title?

Selby is winning these rounds imo. The judges are just hating on the showboating. Not his fault he's slick!

Selby quality, probably the most naturally gifted fighter since Calzaghe and Naz from the UK

He's got to tone down the showboating a bit IMO, and keep his concentration for the whole of the round, but he will go a long way
