Yep, WSB matches usually run for 2.5 hours. 5 fights & each fight is 5x3min rounds.

Isn't it Ukraine vs Azerbaijan rather than Kazakhstan? They've got Usyk vs Medzhidov listed for tonight. That is one hell of match-up. Better than most of the HBO/Showtime headline bouts recently. Don't know any of the Mexican fighters but will certainly give Alvarez a watch vs Nevin.

Looking forward to this, should be some really good fights. GB should sneak it 4-1 though imo.

Cummings also has a clear 19-13 win over the Olympic silver medalist Esquiva Floernetino, and was very unlucky not to beat Darren O'Neill in the nationals last year. Decent fighter, think he can get the win over Brown.

Is that John Joe Nevin a gypsy lad? It's good to see more travellers fighting on a big stage.

Yeah, I've heard a bit about Ward but I've never see him fight. Who do you think is the best of the two?

Haha, **** knows how I missed that. Anyway, I've got a few comp tickets, so I'm heading over! Beats watching England beat a pub team.

How does the scoring work over the QFs? Do they take the aggregate over both cards?

Nevin is like three or four years older than Ward, and has been around the amateur scene for the last 5 or 6 years, so he's at a far more developed stage in his career. His a lot more of a stylist than Ward, and his footwork, balance and counter punching is stop notch. Nevin at his best is a great watch, and he's been very successful in the WSB so far with only a couple of loses, and recently he beat a 12-0 pro in the comp.

Ward at 19, is really only a young lad in fighting terms, but with his potential he could be amzingly good in a few years. He can box and counter well, come forward and pressure an opponent and he's got great speed, strength and size for a light-heavyweight He is going to be unbelievably when he does eventually go pro. He's been looking really good in the WSB for the most part, so he's fulfilling peoples expectations.

Both would make world class pro's though imo, pity it'll be a while until we seen them make the switch.
