I'm only interested on whether anyone here wants to see it, not interested in hits, well, only in terms of 'is this fighter getting the attention he deserves?'

You not seen whole of Griffith-Paret II? Okay, I'll get right to it then. Been quite busy this weekend (for me)

I've only got about 100,000 views or summat.

I got quite into it all for a while, oooh, what's the demographic of people watching this video?? It's ****ing weird, my biggest hit is Gerry Penalosa-Jhonny Gonzalez. Nobody wants to watch Fred Apostoli.

This is a good summation as Griffith did enjoy most of his success on the outside...but I have to respectfully disagree somewhat...Griffith really surprised me with his strength on the inside against Tiger (for periods) in that first fight. But as you keenly observed, it could have been Griffith's footwork and positioning that leveraged Tiger off his spot...Griffith did not choose to engage Benvenuti that way...then again, Benvenuti was a bit quicker on the feet too...I just remember being shocked at how Griffith was able to move Tiger!

Yes! I'm so glad someone watched it

Would you say Rodriguez looks a non-puncher in the fight?

Is that the one where he smashes Skeeter with a huge shot in the mid rounds...

Two technicians going at it. Im going to with Mike Mccallum by decision, especially if he the fight is fought at a closer range, I think his body punching and inside fighting could be the difference. Griffith if he keep it on the outside would have a very good chance, with his nifty footwork and great jab.

Tiger could look really terrible at times. So plodding and seeming lacking in imagination.

then he'd become a surgeon with his punches.

Definitely,he looked like **** against Griffith tbh, allowing the smaller man to oubox him with ease. He was slows as a wet week and looked like he couldn't be bothered.

Cheers Flea...Thanks again for putting it up!!!...Always great to see LMR in action. I think one of the true greats, An absolute iron man fighting all of those middleweights.

A non-puncher???...No way. Rodriguez isn't to be considered a big puncher, especially at middle. But IMO, it's his speed, timing, and an accumulative effect. Given his frenetic style, you have to fight him off and exert alot energy doing so...LMR takes you out in deep water and drowns you. McClure took a pretty good beating to the body and that contributed to sapping his energy...but also LMR had the speed to shock the bigger fighters and was excellent at placing his shots too...I think LMR excels in any era you would care to name...One of my favorites.
