Agree, Joe always seemed to have the rare ability to completely adapt during a fight and win.

To be fair I think Eubank was trying to get Collins going. Just with the whole taking him to task about real fans wanting to know why he didn't face calzaghe. Maybe it's just me but at the time I didn't really care to much about it. Collins response should have been the same reason calzaghe didn't want to face Froch, that would've been end of discussion right there.

If Eubank was really that bothered about getting answers for the fans then he should've asked the same question to calzaghe. Don't get me wrong I understand why Collins didn't want calzaghe and why calzaghe didn't want Froch and its fair enough. But I think Eubank was being a bit sneaky and There's a personal thing there between the 2 of them. Even Collins himself at one point asked him what his real problem was because he was deliberately trying to antagonize him.

That being said Collins did come across as a bitter prick and really tried to turn the show into a face off between him and Jones. When in all honesty I don't think he would've won a single round if that fight happened when Jones was in his prime.

Was a great show though and some more would be good.

It was good to see Roy getting riled up. He was there for just a laugh not taking it serious until Collins said that then as you said he flipped. The checkers comment was very good. I can see what Collins was saying though from start to finish Toney just didn't look after himself.

To be fair, I could imagine Roy getting riled up with Nelson billing Calzaghe as some kind of unbeatable phenom and the greatest of them all. Jones in his prime was on a completely different level to any of the fighters on the table, whereas he seemed relegated to also-ran status on the show.

Overall though, Roy and Eubank came across pretty well, and Woodhall was his usual easy-going self. Collins seemed to have a major chip on his shoulder, and Calzaghe's smugness was irritating in parts.

What level American hyped level? zoids Level?? Jones has always been given too much acclaim than deserved, the difference is hes american and gets noticed more and too many Brits bow in blindness. I`m not knocking his skills here but to say he was on another level is just OTT

agree with this, calzaghe and rjj in their prime is a great fight and would have been very close. Let's remember joe did also have a good chin up until the end of his career.

A slower, past prime Jones dropped him in the first couple of rounds.

I missed the show, but going by the comments on the threads the fighters themselves have confirmed what I stated for YEARS on here.

Eubank is a complete coward.

The American scene was far stronger than the British scene, and both Benn and especially Eubank would have been twatted by Jones, Toney and Nunn.

All I can say is "I told you so...."

Trust me, it wouldn't be 50-50. If I'm generous to Cal I'd say 95-5 in Jones' favour.

even if it was better you can hardly call eubank a coward after the fights the man was involved in!

You told us what? Eubank admitted the scene was better in america and that makes him a coward?? Surely it's the opposite by admitting his nation was lagging behind.
