Default How much of a chance does Bigfoot have

Or is he going to suffer the same fate as their first encounter?

As the fight comes near I'm giving him more of a shot. He'll know not to throw lazy kicks and over a 5 round fight I could see him wearing Cain out with his size if he can survive the GNP and make him work. Anyone that can beat Fedor and todays Overeem deserves respect.

I pick Cain in 2 though

I am certain that this will not happen.

He is perfectly capable of knocking Cain out, he has the power and Cain is hittable. I don't know how likely it is, though.

All I can see is a rerun of the first fight. Cain by TKO in less than 3 rounds.

Cains cardio is top notch but he tired against jds and jds isn't a super heavyweight and was all defense in the grappling..you can't fight with the frantic pace that Cain has and not tire, jds was coming close to landing a bomb in the 4th and 5th a few times. I could see Bigfoot coming back if he can survive.

If it goes to the ground Cain will win. If it stays on the feet it will be interesting. Silva is a monster, he has a big frame, and natural punching power. If he hits him it's good night.

The most important part of the fight is who gets the first takedown. Silva is 30lbs bigger than Cain at the time of the fights and that weight will take a toll as the fight develops. I'm not saying Cain doesn't have cardio. But I was thinking when Silva was on top of Fedor it was like a man sitting on a child, if the Ref wouldn't have stopped it Fedor would have been ruined simply carrying him.

We all see what happened last time Cain took Silva down.

You think Silva will take Cain down?? The only guy that took Cain down ever was Brock Lesnar.. He was a mountain of a man and a former Division 1 Wrestling Champion! He still couldn't keep Cain down for longer than 2 seconds.. Silva will not take Cain down, The fact you even mention that is absurd dude..

Kongo technically scored a takedown on him, too. Cain got up immediately, but still.

Obviously Silva's game plan won't be to take Cain down. And if Cain get the takedown in the first round the fight is probably over. If Silva avoids the takedown for three rounds and then takes Cain down when he is tired his size will be a problem for Cain.

I'm picking Cain to win by stoppage again, but I will never be surprised to see Bigfoot beat anyone.

Bigfoot is huge, has a bjj black belt, and he can bang. Though he has been stopped, he has also shown he can be quite durable. Another thing to note is that he defeated Arlovski by decision in a fight that mostly standing. Defeating Arlovski doesn't prove greatness, but most of his losses are by stoppage. Arlovski is often winning when he is stopped.

Cain will take him down & pound him out just like the first fight.

Bigfoot's chances are between slim and none. And slim just left the building

He has to catch Cain with a good punch and finish up on the ground..

Cain is going to look to slip and rip, or feint and shoot. I don't know if he want's to tangle with bigfoot in the clinch, as bigfoot's strength seems to have it's own category and it's kinda risky to be in there and possibly eating arm punches from a guy with that big a bone structure.

Cain will look to get him on his back and grind him to a pulp and avoid exchanges. Bigfoot has a great chin, very durable despite what Cain did to him last time. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets stopped, Cain just dealing too much un-returned damage on the ground.

Bigfoot has a punchers chance especially being as heavy handed as he is.

It's a very low chance. He did have a smart strategy against Reem because his weaknesses are obvious. His cardio is horrible. He probably gets winded running up steps. So, advantage goes to BF in that department.

In the Cain fight, he doesn't have an advantage except for maybe punching power....which JDS has plus speed....and JDS did not fair well against Cain at all. This is not MMAth. This is objectively looking at skillsets and how Cain deals with them.

Speed- Cain
Boxing- Cain
Grappling- Cain
Cardio- Cain
Power- Maybe Bigfoot. Maybe. Cain did KO Nog. He also dropped JDS.

There's just nothing that I can think of that BF has an edge in. What can he game plan? This is Cain's fight to lose. Unless he pulls a Chael and gets careless, I can't see BF winning. Although I'd love the upset if he did.

He has a good chance...without the cut the first fight would be competitive IMO.
