Default Why was Camacho so inactive...

At certain times in the 80's?

He was boxing for over a decade by the time he lost to Haugn, and he really didn't have that many fights under his belt. Most fighters were far more active around that time.

He was more active in 95', 15 years after he started, than he was in his prime.

Because he was a joke and didn't give a damn.

Camacho changed after the Rosario fight. He got hurt bad and if affected his whole career after that. He was amazing before he fought Rosario, became safety first afterwards

Because, you see, he was castrated by Edwin Rosario and it takes a long time to recover from something like that.

Yes, he was never quite the same again post Rosario; I think he lost interest in the sport and never quite regained it.

He didn't seem to like to fight any more after Rosario tagged him a few good shots. He said afterwards, "he fights like he's mad at me."

That quote right there tells you that Camacho really wasn't meant to be a fighter, and didn't understand what the sport of boxing was truly about.
