Default Major over-reaction! Extraordinary...

Haven't seen this sort of over reaction since last weeks episodes of storage hunters! He didn't bite Povetkins ear off or anything did he? He chose to do a a bit of a Ward/Hopkins impersonation for 12 rounds!

Excessive clinching without a doubt but Povetkin knew all this beforehand and had no Plan B for it! What is basically happening is people are blaming WK for Povetkin lacking the ability to fight on the outside! Haye & Ibragimov negated the clinch (and were still outclassed also!) it isn't overly difficult to do...

Don't get me wrong i got no pleasure in seeing a fighter like Povetkin (who i admire greatly) manhandled like a child and ending up looking like an extra on Thriller! He's a class act and a humble guy no doubt and he had no qualms or excuses, he simply admitted WK is far superior...

I think the vitriole towards Wladimir masks a great deal of genuine shock at just how one sided it actually was! Povetkin is arguably his greatest opponent to date (Byrd & Chagaev being the other two!)

I like many others get frustrated with WK sometimes, there was a lot of unneccessary things he did in that fight that he didn't need to do! Fighting in Povetkins Russia may be one of the reasons he was over doing things!

Is he declining? I don't think so! I think Pulev will be another Wach type performance and he will probably stop him...

The general population had caught up to Wladimirs stink fests long time ago, hence why most people wouldn't watch his fights being paid!

Now the hardcore contingent is getting sick and tired of his wrestling tactics, I for one will never watch another fight live with him again, ever.

Are you kidding? He jammed Povetkin up in more clinches per round than Ward does in a championship bout, and perhaps more over 12 than Ward has in his career.

The fact that he dares compare Wladimirs octopus tactics to Ward, is just.... I don't even know where to begin.

Major over-reaction! Is it common for ppl with bi-polar disorder to overreact/get mad/or yell about everything?

In the second fight with Frazier Ali clinched Frazier 143 times!

Secondly when someone like Hopkins does it it is called science LOL

Over reactions yes, but as a Wlad fan, one has to have higher expectations, i like a little more boxing in a boxing fight.

What is most ridiculous about the current deluge of hate toward Wladimir? The people doing the most of it indicated they were not even going to watch the fight:

WK is viewed from a half empty glass perspective by most. The same people are simply looking for reasons to defame the guy regardless of the outcome. Unfortunately WK once again gave them PLENTY of ammunition.

It is also very unlikely WK will change anything at this stage. From what I gather he basically trains himself and is still dominant with that style.

119-104 in Povetkins backyard

Not a pretty fight indeed, but Povetkin was part of it too boring in low with his head.

But the difference between Hopkins + Ward clinching vs Wladimir, is that they use it so they can fight their way from the inside-out, with short hooks an uppercuts. eg Ward vs Froch.

Wladimir on the other hand. He grabs but than leans his body all over his opponent with no intention of fighting!! An then cowardly petitions the ref to break them clean so he could do it all over again.
