Default Here we go again...

ANTHONY Mundine's next major bout is set to be a rematch with Sam Soliman in Melbourne but the WBA super middleweight champion has his sights set on future fights overseas.
After winning a unanimous points decision over fellow Sydney boxer Nader Hamdan on Wednesday night, Mundine said he had told his management team he wanted to fight on the international stage.
But he has unfinished business in Australia as the deals for his fights with Soliman and Danny Green both contained rematch clauses, and negotiations are understood to be already under way to schedule these.
With the 2006 Mundine-Green bout the biggest grossing fight in Australian boxing history, followed by last March's world title showdown with Soliman, other parties are also keen for the rematches to go ahead.
However, before his gruelling 12-round win over Hamdan, there had been doubts about whether Mundine would return to the level he reached when he beat Soliman to regain the WBA belt. He ruptured a biceps last June and then suffered an eye infection that threatened not just his career but his sight.
"I have ducked no one in my career, I have fought the best that have come out of here - Danny Green, Sam Soliman - and I'm looking to go international," Mundine said.
"I have put it on my manager, Khoder Nasser, 'Let's shake up the world'. Who he matches me up with, I don't care. I'm ready for the best in the world."
Soliman, who moved to Los Angeles after his success in The Contender reality TV boxing show, wants to avenge his ninth-round loss to Mundine.
His manager, Stuart Duncan, said that if a rematch were held in Melbourne, where Soliman would have the hometown advantage, his man would give a much better account of himself.
"We're saying this time, why don't you grow some balls and roll down to Melbourne and have a crack at us," Duncan said.
The Soliman camp believes it lost focus before last year's fight, and concentrated on the goal of knocking Mundine out.
"Sam got caught with what I can only describe as a lucky punch," Duncan said.

A rematch with Soliman is a waste of ****ing time...

What happens if he doesnt rematch, they strip him?

If it has to happen I would've thought it would be best for Sam to win a few fights (not 5 rounders) against decent opposition first, otherwise how the hell do they think this fight will sell tickets or PPVs?

Yeah, a lucky punch that knocked him down on no less than 4 occasions.

What a faggot.

What's wrong with him? No reward whatsoever in this fight, other than money, and I can't believe people are still buying his PPVs in big numbers.

Im no fan of the rematch. But we do have to understand that legally he has to fight sam and danny again.
