He missed a lot of these guys the way Sonny Bono missed that tree. What makes you think Cotto was there for him? Cotto doesn't even seem to think that. "I never pushed for it at any time before."in the lead-up duck-baiting to the Mayweather fight by ESPN. They gave Cotto all the opportunity to drum up interest by making it sound as if he had wanted the fight years back when Floyd retired. So, he says that he never pushed for the fight ever, and people keep acting like Floyd ran away from the sport because Cotto was simply too bad. Didn't Cotto have to take a Top Rank break to fight Floyd? You think maybe Floyd and Arum's feud is the issue and not Floyd being scared? Anybody?

Hell, I remember the hilarious calls of ducking when Mosley crashed his post-fight interview looking for a payday. As though Mayweather hadn't wanted to fight him years before when he said he had a toothache and needed a vacation after being asked about it following one of his own fights. So, Mayweather fights him, as he's willing, then everyone talks about how he ducked him until he was old! Mayweather ducking myths. You've got to love them. No matter what the verifiable facts are, people just keep claiming the same bogus BS about it.

In fairness I thought he did try and get Cotto at 140 but Arum said Miguel wasn't ready for Mayweather at that time. Still wanted nothing to do with Marg, and Pac though.

Oh, and isn't he actually 37 next month, and not 38?

Can't see Duran beating a prime Mayweather... Though I see a prime SRR,SRL and maybe a pernell Whitaker out boxing mayweather. But anyone knocking mayweather outcold..... I can't see anyone around his weight class doing that.
