Default H2H,who beats a prime Tyson

I can only think of a handful, if that. The first two being Ali and Foreman. Foreman because of Tyson's fear of fighting him from what i heard which was probably put into tyson's head by D'mato. He always said a style like Tyson's would n't work against Foreman just like Fraziers didn't

I'd make Ali, Hollyfield & Liston firm favourites. Others may be slight favourites/50-50 encounters, but these are the three for me.

I think Tyson would beat Foreman.

I am not positive I'd make anyone anything more than a 50/50 or possibly 55/45 with a young, peak Tyson with Rooney in his corner.

Possibilities include Ali, Lewis, and Holmes.

Foreman gets blasted out.

What about Evander? Evander looks like the kind of fighter that would boss Tyson regardless.

Liston is a prety good pick. I think he has exactly the right tools. I would pick Louis and Foreman for similar reasons.

Ali would have the mobility and speed to potentialy win.

Now for a few off the wall picks.

I think Jeffries would likley beat him in his own back yard and Jack Johnson also. Both would be able to neutralize him in the clinchesand take him into deeper water.

Joe Walcott had the mobility and defensive prowess to potentialy take Tyson into the later rounds and win somehow. This would be an interesting fight.

I think that Jeffries is a decent pick, probably would make him a slight favourite with that granite chin.

Johnson....I used to think so. I'm not so sure now. Does he have the chin for it? He will get hit and he doesn't have that Louis-style arsenal to give himself the chance at being first...I think I favour Tyson in this one now.

I think Johnsons chin was prety good. He went a lot of years without being knocked out against verry tough opposition.

Even so it is hard to know to what extent his defence and to what extent his chin prevented this.

Choynski was a murderous puncher who knocked out a green LHW Johnson.

The only fighters I would favor to beat Tyson are Ali and Liston. I would give Louis, Foreman and Holmes good chances to beat him. Other than that, none else.

Even when past his prime, Tyson seemed to beat Holyfield around early in their fight before wilting late. In his prime, Holyfield was not as imposing or muscular as he would become, and I don't think, given Tyson's success against much bigger men, that Holyfield would be able to boss him around. I did give him a decent chance though.

The ones that come to mind first are definitely Ali and Liston. I thought the Walcott idea was very interesting, his style could definitely pose problems for Tyson. I actually think that would make an interesting thread in itself.

Lewis, Holyfield, Liston and Ali imo all beat a prime Mike Tyson.

Foreman wouldnt have the lungs to keep up with prime Mike, tyson body work would wear him down and Foreman not so good defence will suffer left hook and over hand rights from the shorter man. I see a TKO win for Mike in this one.

Other fighters who give Tyson a rough ride would be Mercer, Bowe, Ikeabuchi and young Larry Holmes. I would still lean toward Mike Tyson in these head to head bouts though.

I would favor the following heavyweights: Jeffries, Ali, Holyfield, Holmes.

I think Tyson beats Foreman and would have a good chance of beating Liston.

I think Sullivan beats Tyson in a bareknuckle boxing match.
