Bilal Akkawy and Billel Dib are neck and neck to win Australian boxings
" Most Padded Record " award for 2014.

Didn't really want to mention Mundine but I'm sure he'll be in the mix.

Dib, a fighter who relies on a his 1-2 combo in out, and counter..has no power, has no hook, body or uppercut to really trouble anyone his speed and his avge defence are his only tools.. First time I seen him fight in the Mundine card... As soon as he fights a straight forward banger.. He will get ko'd early

15/2/14 Lakemba

8rds Billel Dib V TBA

Billy Hussein must be struggling to come up with a soft enough touch
to throw in with the Australian Super Feather Champ.

I thought Mundines last undercard could never be beaten for worst of all time but I forgot about Billy Hussains promotions. He*s always a chance to topple it.

I can see why they don't want to have him in any tough meets. Given he's as good as he is at such a young age all he has to do is grow older and he'll become a better/stronger fighter. Save the tough fights for when he's hunting for a title shot.

But I do agree it would be a lot more interesting from a spectators point of view to see him get tested a little more.

What I think could probably work is getting him down to Middleweight and have him fighting 4 rounders, 6 rounders at the most. This way he can gain the experience of making 72kg's, which is where they want him to eventually campaign, and if they step up on the class of opponent for him and he ends up being tested than it would be a tough 4 rounds. Career shortening fights generally come from prolonged beatings. There's a big difference between a tough four rounder in comparison to a tough eight rounder

Bilal unlike many had no amateur fights and is young - they are cutting his teeth & getting his confidence up while honing his skills .. His team are not out there making any claims to fame - just quietly building him up getting him ready for the next level.

In saying that - I do agree they need to find more durable opponents so he can get some rounds in .. Trained by his father & uncle I suppose they have the attitude of taking a cautious approach as he is young.

Unfortunately for bilal you can't find skills in wheatbix packs or feeding on tomato's, the fact is Bilal is a limited fighter with limited potential a decent domestic fighter at best, your faith in him is overrated
