Just wanted to say it still feels great to have my first fight and hopefully in my next fight I won't be as nervous.
You have a great attitude, you will go far. Keep at it my friend!

Hey guys, I fought again this week for 4th time in a Desert Showdown tournament.

This time I really feel that I won the fight, but the decision went to the other guy. Even after the fight other coaches and fighters were telling me that I got robbed.

Anyways my record now is 0-4 :(, but this time I didnt feel too nervous and did everything what mu coach told me to do. So I'm improving after every fight which is the good news.

Am records are meant to take L's. If someone goes undefeated in the Am's then they never fought outside their comfort level, sounds like you are doing better now though.

It's just experience mate. You will be 4 fights better than someone who is 0-0 and in fact some people might get by on talent or power or speed or something like that until they face difficulty then don't know what to do - you are ahead of them through learning from losses.

Well done mate for being persistent, as that is what it takes to succeed in any field, you can only get better with experience and eventually you will find the tide turning, but you must stick with it and not be discouraged.
I must add that it could also be down to the type of training you are doing with your gym, so may be a good idea to check out others and their methods, get some good quality sparring with opponents who will make you scared etc, that should help with overcoming nerves somewhat and that will also translate in competition.
That is how i train my fighters, the tough but smart old school methods... fearless winning warriors 8 out of 10 times.
Always here if you need help or advice mate...

Props to you for your courage to step between the ropes.

What you describe here is what people are talking about when they say boxing is 90 percent mental ... it's overcoming your own nerves, doubts, fears and being able to perform in the ring like you do in the gym.

Experience should fix that. Keep at it as long as you're still enjoying it.
