Yes, yes we do. You may know your boxing but when it comes to weight lifting, just no.

If a boxer wants to improve endurance they should practice boxing or some form of cardio. The main emphasis when using weights should be increasing overall power. If power is not the goal then most likely they shouldn't be using weights unless they want to waste their time with high rep, low weight crap.

Also, you think because you teach this BS to boxers it makes it a valid training method?

maybe you should ask virus where's the proof that cardio even exists, after all your body has not clue as to what your are doing- exercise is a message to the body saying what the body needs to improve to survive. Pecho ask virus how cardio helps in killing an elephant or a tiger thousands of years ago? Brute strength does that not jumping up unto a chair actually I think that virus is gay so maybe he'd need stamina at least his nalgas would lol.

Your post reads like it was typed up by a retarded 5 year old. Can we have it in English?

BTW, calling me gay makes you look extremely immature. You sure are frustrated by me for someone with a PHD.

"Cardio" refers to activities to help improve the cardiovascular system. We as a society label these activities "cardio". I get what you're saying, technically everything is cardio, but so what? What does this prove? Nothing.

meh, if you can find a way of lifting weights that makes you feel sort of like you just fought a round, it might be pretty good. complexes/ circuits.

Interesting you mention Feel, the thing the body responds to most. Plus touch very much overlooked.

Strength is not automatically equates power... Many things go in improving power, and weightlifting is NOT on the top 5 on that list....

Form
Balance
Stance
Leverage
Rotation
Cadence/technique

Far more important.... If weight lifting is a required to improve power, bulky guys like Lacy or Tim Bradley would have incredible power....

From personal experience, weight lifting just made me slower. It took away the snap in the punches and I moved slower. To compensate for it, I'd spend a lot more time working on getting faster than I would on my actual boxing skills.

IMHO, I'd work first on your skills before focusing on power. Your natural power should be enough, if you don't got it, don't worry about it cause a technical boxer will eliminate whatever power you develop if it isn't strong enough to knock him off his game and make him think twice about acting on you. That's how it works for me.

It is a misconception that power comes from bulking, massive muscle built up....exactly, the bulk and mass makes you slower!!

To the contrary, elastic efficient muscles, along with the 5 items I noted above are far more important that bulky muscles
