In through the nose, out through the mouth.

If you breathe in through the mouth, you'll develop a very bad habit of not keeping your mouth biting down on your mouthpiece. You keep getting hit slack-jawed and you'll end up with a broken jaw, or continually get your mouthpiece knocked out, that sort of thing.

I'll agree with you Breathless it's a tricky one. But look this is quite clearly an important issue.

Okay, longshot I know, but I'm gonna throw it out there anyway...

Have you tried breathing while resting against a solid object, like a wall for instance, with the knees bent, almost as if sitting on an imaginary chair?

I believe this exercise has a name but it eludes me at the moment..

Yeah it's on the tip of my tongue, so annoying when you just can't recall it..
