When Lopez was defending his WBC Minimum weight title on Tyson undercrads during the mid 90's, Christy Martin's purses were bigger. Which is nothing short of ridiculous. Lopez's purses around this time were $50,000.

Lopez has some money, but not the kind of $ which complements his talent.

does he have a choice.

the point is that under feather no one cares some do and the donaire darchiyan was a good fight but back then those type of wieght classes were nothing. if only mexico had totally got hold of him and gave him praise then the whole world would be there....actually if it wasnt for lopez i'm not sure most of the below bantams were television material.

he shouldnt be forgoten
