Nice.

Norris is the only fighter I ever heard of that sparred 12 rounds every other day in preparation for fights.

The boxing book seems to focus on questions that are very basic in nature. The answers to each question don’t seem to deviate very much from one fighter to another. If I was to write a book I would like to get feedback from the coaches that organized the programs for the fighters. I bet they would be way more creative in telling you what they actually had to do in order to become a world champion. On the other hand, in a way, the information is kind of confidential because why would a coach want to give up his secrets that made him into a world champion coach?

I know. And I've been saying this in my head for quite a while now. The training regimen outlined in that book seemed very general. I think the coaches just dont disclose a lot of methods which they use to refine the skills/traits of the fighter, for the sake of protecting their own wallet.

Its interesting to note that most of these fighters are getting 8-10 hours a sleep a day according to the schedules.

Thats pretty good.
