Default Highest rated Ring Magazine fighters who never fought for any title.

Alphabet WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF, colored, and Brittish Emprie titles count.

Who were the highest rated guys who never had a crack at any of these?

Nino Valdez.....Rated # 1 twice, Rated # 2 twice....Damato wanted no part of Nino Valdez. Patterson vs Valdez would have been interesting

Especially as people like Rademacher and Mcneely put Floyd down,Nino just might have kept him there.

Wlad Klitschko was the ring #1 from somewhere 2000 tot mid-2003 (Sanders), never got to fight Lewis.

He was recently voted "Greatest Rotterdammer of all time", i was actually surprised that he got the vote over Pim Fortuyn... not that Fortuyn achieved more, but he is still fresh in the mind whereas you'd think most people don't know who Bep is...

Ik was verbaast toen ik erachter kwam dat m'n moeder (52) hem kende.

Aan de andere kant, ze volgt voetbal ook fanatiek...

I believe Holman Williams was very highly ranked at one point 1 during Zale's title reign yet never got a title shot.

Yep Zale wanted no part of black fighters like burley, archie moore, williams. Burley challenged tony zale on grounds zale would get 100% of the fight income so burley would be fighting for FREE yet zale still declined.

Thats very possible, though with floyds pee a boo style combined with his amazing combinations, power, handspeed.....I think he would have taken valdez outta there so my money would be on floyd, but if valdez caught patterson he had the power and finishing skills to take him out...he would pull a liston.

Frank Fletcher, James Scott & Eugene "Cyclone"Hart are some modern examples.
