I'm a huge Holmes fan, and while I don't think their fight was Holmes at his best, one could see what styles each would use. Based on that, I think Tyson would win, similarly to Holyfield having Tyson's number, I think Tyson has Holmes' number.

Hard one to pick, but Tyson often had some difficulties who could move well and had a good jab. Holmes had good movement and an absolute lethal jab. I would put my money on Holmes.

Get the **** outta here. Holmes TKO's Tyson in 8. The Holmes that Tyson fought was way past his prime. People shouldn't use that as an indicator of the stylistic match-up because at that point, Holmes' style was much less effective than it had been.

Depends on whether or not Holmes has the power to get Tyson's respect or not..if not..he's coming forward and he's not stopping.

That jab is going to get Tyson's respect. Prime Holmes had the most effective jab of all-time. This fight would look a lot closer to Tyson-Douglas than Tyson-Holmes.

I agree.

The prediction that Tyson would win by KO in rd 4 doesn't sound that impressive to me, since that's the result a prime Tyson got against a 38 year old Holmes who just came from a 2 year lay-off. There's absolute no reason to believe that Holmes in his prime wouldn't do better.

Even prime Holmes would still get stomped.

He had the right style but not the heart and disipline. What would he do when Holmes is laying it on him in the later rounds while Tyson is gasing out and frustrated? He would fold like news paper. Tyson has always been vulnerable to a consistant jab and Holmes was one of the toughest, greatest, most fluent pure boxers of all time. He probably had the greatest left jab in heavyweight history, with the exception of peak Liston or Ali. I can honestly say that Tyson has no chance. He wouldn't knock Holmes out of course, since Larry has fought much bigger punchers and tougher fighters. So how would he win? Holmes by late stoppage

In fact, a few people and i believe that if Holmes had a few tune ups when he fought Tyson, then he might have been the first one to expose Tyson.
