Default Re: Stevie "Lil' But Bad" Johnston

I agree that Johnston looked more comfortable on the inside against Castillo, but I don't think he contained him in either fight. Both fights were extremely difficult to score from what I saw.(Castillo's workrate made it as such.)

As for not being "athletically gifted" - I'd never accuse anyone with those type of reflexes as lacking in the athleticism department. And the "poor mans Pernell Whitaker would be more appropriate in describing somebody like Paul Spadafora.Wouldn't have seen Johnston being bossed and punched around the ring by Leonard Dorin.

And finally: there ain't **** all wrong with Earth,Wind & Fire.

I can't see either happening. The fight would likely go to the cards with Johnston winning a close decision (assuming the judges are fair).
Corrales stops him.

Stevie had a solid chin, but not granite. And even a tough chin is cracking cracked if Chico can tag it enough.

Stevie would have been up on the cards, but Chico would have eventually caught him one time too many and clocked him.
