Here's another comment from General.

I thought he admitted that his career belongs at 140? Shows how money talks, nobody is interested in Mayweather - De La Hoya 2 (which was a close fight) than Mayweather - Hatton 2 which was a **** fight and a KO loss for Hatton.

Hatton should try and unify the belts before retiring, that would be a good way for him to go out, if he wants another superfight, he'll have to wait and see what 135 throws up at him, other than that he should get on with his business.

Hatton in thinking Floyd should fight him instead of Cotto shocker!!

This is taking hating to a new level. Ricky tries to secure the best fight possible for himself and people complain about it.

Supporting yourself with comments from the morons on general forum is no vindication of your hate either.

And it's not just me, here's a quote from General which puts it better than I did.

Ahhh...stick it where the sun dont shine RICKY
Thats basically all out shameless pomotional rubbish tryingto sell a fight. If Cotto beats Margarito? That is THE FIGHT. PERIOD. Wanna fight Floyd again? Better stick around long enough to find out
You are twisting this, and everybody can see it.

Of course Floyd - Cotto would be a wonderful fight. For you and I that is. For Floyd, is it that attractive? Maybe not.

Going to England to fight for the first time, in front of a HUGE crowd... well maybe that IS attractive to Floyd.

That's what Hatton's saying, it's quite clear, and to feel 'he's insulting your intelligence' is just silly.

Maybe it appeals to Floyd to come and fight outside the United States for the first time and come across to England to fight me. I have no doubt that for Floyd Mayweather, a fight in England could get 100,000 people, probably at Wembley Stadium. Floyd is wanting to build his fanbase, his popularity and appeal to the people and I think he would go right up in people's estimations if he came over to fight me in my backyards - like I fought him in his backyard. If his profile can go any higher, he would get plenty of fans if he could do that, so it's a possibility, fighting in England
A fight against Cotto in the US would be welcomed by boxing fans, but Hatton is right. It's a fight against a top contender, exactly what Floyd has done before at various weights. It would be another good fight. It wouldn't be anything new for him.

it would possibly be the greatest win of his career.

beating sticky wicky all over the ring again means nothing at this point.

if hatton wants mayweather again then he should go up to 147 and look to take out a few of the top 10. but we all know he won't and can't do that so he'll sit around, claim another IBF 140 title, give it up at the first chance and get his **** handed to him again by floyd without earning the shot then talk about how his only two losses have come against the best pound for pound fighter in the world.

but it don't matter, because i'm the most exciting pound for pound fighter in the world......etc. etc.

then he can fight little man pac and retire.
