Where does mijares stand on your p4p list?

now holds 2 titles at 115 and is on a collision course for a unification/ undisputed status with montiel. kirilov does'nt matter.

I don't do p4p, but he's undeniably one of the top three most talented boxers in the world, if not THE.

You're right that Montiel is all he needs right now to cement himself as legend.

This is bullshit as well that he keeps getting ridiculous scoring's against him. I garauntee you it's the explanation for the Maldonado draw.

a unified crown + a win over a solid bantam (penalosa, sidorenko et..) should be enough for a decent ranking.

11 rounds out of 12 is still as dominate as it gets. He ****ed Munoz up...

What is this nonsense? Seriously. It's a taint on his paper record, he dominated this guy beautifully, he's an incredible fighter and future ATG and they are ****ing him over here.

Had Munoz taken 4 clearly, the decision would have gone to Munoz!!!

Question for you guys. If you set aside the p4p format for a moment, and just momentarily forget about resume, how many of you don't have Mijares top three in terms of pure talent and ability?

Cristian Mijares is the best "unknown" fighter in the world.
He's definitely top10 p4p by now, I'd rate him at around 7-9.

We see a lot of "talents" out there, like Gamboa etc, that somehow fail to totally impress people due to their lack of focus, their lack of dedication. What Cristian Mijares did tonight was epic, he kept his poise from round 1 to the last bell of round 12.

Not only is he physically one of the two or three best fighters out there, he's focused and determined like few, and that makes him special.

I said before the decision that 120-107 or 119-108 were the only acceptable scores, and nobody who's seen the fight saw it any other way. It makes no sense that one judge would have it as close for Mijares as a couple of points - let alone Munoz winning.

munoz is a tough guy. even in his fights with castillo, the guy ate clean shots all night but always came forward throwing loaded up shots with bad intent to take a few rounds off el gallito.

Why do you think I hype him in ridiculous/humorous ways? It gains attention to a truly great fighter, who's being ripped off consistently by idiot judges.

That was a domination, not a close fight, ****ing ridiculous. It makes my blood boil.

I don't think it was that lop-sided. I had it 9 rounds to 2 and I didn't see the first round. Came in late.

With the point deduction, 117-110 would have been in the zone.

I can't see Munoz getting any more than that.
