What did you think of the ABA's?

Awesome- Some great talent coming through.... hate the gay scoring but other then that it was quality... Note Karl Kirkham and Matty Askin are both Blackpool lads and Scotty Cardle 100% would have beaten Ogogo based on last nights performance.

I missed most of it but i did see Tyson Fury at the end dominate that other fella. Looked pretty good.

The scoring was shocking. How does it work? All judges need to see it for it to register?

I mean knocking a guy down legitimately and getting nothing for it is a bit shit.

I think it is difficult to come up with a perfect way to score fights, but you are correct in saying that the aba method is awful! There are also far too many differences to the pro game, which I feel should be rectified

A casual fan would be wondering whats going on in amateur boxing when a knockdown doesn't score a point and timekeepers end rounds a minute early.

Also the Beeb should have waited until the York Hall was full before panning around a half empty venue and proclaiming it "packed to the rafters".

Bunce is an absolute Unit, taller than Haye but i got the feeling he was standing on a step or something. he is bigger but not that much bigger.

Yeah he's quality great jab- good movement and improving body punching... not sparred him for a few years though but he's worked very hard and deserves any success he gets.
