Default Wayne Alexander calls it a day!

Its on the front page. Wayne was a great domestic talent. Could punch like no other and gave us some decent scraps. His Ko of Takaloo surely has to be his crowning glory. What a KO!!!

Words cannot express how dope Alexander is. I would have watched him against anybody, he could light up any fight.

It is a sad day, but at this point retirement seems logical.

Very disapointed how his career went. Never nice to see a guy just fade out. He gave us some good fights.

He'll always be remembered for that KO. It's s shame he didn't get to fight Lockett or Richard Williams.

Richard would have KO`ed him. He had a hell of a war with Paul Samuels another wasted talented. Wayne knocked him clean out of the ring! I use to see Wayne around at the Pea****s occasionally. Dude had some SERIOUS power.

That was the promoters faults not the fighters. All of them including Hennesy were protecting there investments. It was a tragedy that none of them got to duke it out. What an absolute waste. All we got was Tak vs Wayne when it was too late and went off the boil, and Tak vs Farnell. Roberts Williams Stone and an emerging Gary Lockett never crossed each others paths.

Forgot about him. He was a much classier fighter and a real talent back then. Now he just looks like an old man going through the motions..

One of the best KO's in memory. Apparently a really nice guy too.

The right decision I feel, I wish him well in the future. Does anyone have that fight? Haven't seen it in ages.

Remember when Tak called out DLH and asked him to come to Margate? It was worth a laugh i suppose. Wayne though could never make that break into true world class. He got owned by Harry Simon. Iv got quite a few of his fights in my collection including his KO of Tak.
