Shamrock gets assraped at any point of his career vs Fedor or any other top LHW or HW.
thats why im saying if he knew about MMA today. he would have worked on his ground game earlier. he would have been unstoppable

I dont think anyone from the old days would stand a chance. It just wasn't as fast paced and mixed as today.

Plus, what IS Mark Hunt's prime?

Mark Hunt?
As in the former K-1 champion?

When was his prime?
And what skills did he have 'back then' to beat Fedor? hes only now just learning about submissions and grappling.

It was a wonderful performance. Fedor displayed some mind blowing stuff BUT when Lindland ran at him, lock him at the waist and leg I thought Couture. After that Fedor got in the zone but that one moment makes me think about what Couture could do. Plus Fedor did hold onto the rope and he could lose a point for that in the UFC. Hunt had him on his back and Randleman took him down.

I'm thinking about Couture or Gonzaga (still an unproven quantity) getting to him first, taking him down and taking control. Obviously Fedor has a zillion tricks at how not to let guys maintain control. I think he'd beat them all BUT I am thinking about his stiffest comp in the game at the moment.

What we THINK and what we KNOW are two different things. I want to see Fedor beat the top UFC guys so I can see it with my own eyes.

At this point I just want to see Fedor fight anybody, his legend has, at least on this board, grown outside of the realm of logic, which I didn't think was possible given how proven he is, but fucking christ, even mention the possibility of him losing or even somebody making it a fight and people here freak out.

Physically I think Fedor is beatable, mentally he always seems to find a way and put it into action en route to getting the W.

I think when people mention names like Rampage or Liddell or someone of that nature, yea anyone CAN beat anyone else but come on realistically its not gonna happen. I can see people argue Randy and GG and CC, me personally I don't think any of those guys will do it. Barnett I think has the best chance right now, then I think it goes to CC. I'd much rather see it in a Pride ring with Pride rules instead of the cage and American rules.
