the time Floyd brought the Winky fight up, it he wasn't at a weight that would make sense for them to compete at.

went on to fight DLH for even more money at a weight he's NEVER fought at in
i'm trying to understand this.

Its not question what Floyd did and whether he did it for the money or other reason.
The question is who Floyd was aftraid, and the answer is Margarito.

Cotto- was supposed to be a top dog in the division, many other fighters have came along and had big fights before there 25th fight! Floyd won his 1st world title before his 20th fight!!

Margo- For what? He had nothing to offer then and even less now...lol

Winky- Niether Winky or Shaw could come to terms when it came to fighting Mayweather. You guys make it seem like Floyd backed out when in reality Winky and Shaw were the problem. Winky wanted 50-50, Floyd said no! Shaw made an offer to Floyd and Winky said no... 50-50 or no fight! No one backed out it just did get far as beginning stages of negotiation.

I know it feels good to you guys when you think you have something on the kid, but you don't...find some new material!

If he can't bag the top fights - he shouldn't get recognition. Calling out names dont make you great, unless you beat them.

actually hatton was the top dog in the division since he beat tszyu and cotto had just beat corley

8 million dollar he would have beaten margo but why didn't he take the fight it could have been easy money right?

and as for winky he offered to come down to a catchweight and let floyd take the bigger purse, i think he is used to that.

It's not what PBF has done to get the competitive fights he's supposed to have on his resume, it's what he hasn't done. If he wants to be considered best p4p of all time he needs to seek out the fights that his critics think he needs to fight and fight on the challanger's terms so that the fight will get made. He is obviously the most talented boxer out there right now but he won't get real recognition until he demands the fights that he needs to fight.

Key Words are "was supposed to be A top dog" not the top dog...RIF ok!! We knew there 3 ppl to talk about Floyd, Hatton, and Cotto. Niether of the latter would step in the ring w/Floyd!!

I don't remember seeing or reading anything about Winky deciding to take less money You shouldn't make shit up! Winky was making it very clear in his interviews so maybe he just told you and a few others!

BTW...get over the Margo situation. He brought nothing to the table except media & internet hype. He was then and just recently proved he was overrated. He never beat anyone of significants in 12+yrs at WW. He's a last minute sub, and always will be!!

winky did say he would take the smaller purse.

and margo might have not done much but what did bruseles do? margo offered hype and an easy 8 million dollars, and how did margo prove he is overreated? by losing to a better fighter?

when oscar de la hoya lost to mosley did that prove he was overrated?

Floyd would never fight Winky, thats a fairly easy fight for Winky to win and Floyd knows it. I dont blame him either, he is a few divisions north of Floyd, he doesnt need to prove anything by fighting Winky, which is why he shouldnt have called him out.

And enough of this crap with Cotto turning him down, he was like 15 years old. I mean seriously, he wasnt ready. You cant claim Cotto punked out of a fight with him. Hatton yes, but Cotto no.

Ok then, here's your chance to actually prove it.

Fire away with something concrete or STFU. Step up the the plate Floyd haters.
Afraid? Nah nah nah . . . the guy is simply full of craps. His fighting skills is beyond question . . . but he is more of a businesman than a fighter.

Shame because all he cares is about is MONEY!
