Default What if Marquez fought Hamed, Morales, and Barrera...

Let's say JMM fought Hamed back in 2001. Then he fought Morales and Barrera. Could he have beaten any/all of them, and how good would his resume look with Hamed, Morales, Barrera, and Pacquiao on it?

JMM wouldve beaten him as well. Shame it didnt happen. Funny how things work out, JMM has gone onto eclipse his other great rivals after being somewhat dodged.

I definitely think Morales has the best chance, but I think I'd favour JMM in all 3.

An old Barrera has an argument for a W against JMM, I think he could perform better in 2001. Morales has a good chance as well but I favor JMM. Hamed would get beaten worse than Barrera fight.

3 close fights.

I'd probably have him losing all of them.

For visually challenged yes, Marquez is the same age as MAB

I had Marquez up by five points, but it's not hard to see how a younger, fresher Barrera might have flourished. They peaked at different points in their careers.

Hamed wouldn't have a clue what to do. He'd suffer another comprehensive loss.

A younger Barrera doesn't fight on the backfoot and gives Marquez more countering opportunities though. MAB should ofcourse have had the KD but the ref didn't score it

He out-jabbed Marquez, though. I know that that isn't exactly Juan's strong suit, but it is an avenue for Barrera to exploit. A prime Barrera would have improved on the performance he turned in for their actual match. I think he would adjust to give Juan the toughest possible fight he could possibly offer.

I say it's a toss-up.

He lost the MAB fight by about 4 rounds i think, hardly a schooling. Plus MAB boxed a complete perfect and very smart and disciplined fight, he didnt give Hamed any oppurtunities, with Marquez, Hamed would have much more of a chance.

Just because Hamed lost to Mab, doesnt automatically equate him to losing to any old FW
