Wlad's performance against Iggy was fine. He outboxed a co-champion
with an amazing amateur pedigree and noted counterpuncher with basically his left jab. He will not destroy Thompson out of anger but only because he has no respect for Thompson's boxing skills. He will slaughter the ambling oaf just like he did the plodding, massive Austin. Wlad doesn't take emotion into the ring. He is a professional prize- fighter who maps out a strategy beforehand and executes it usually to perfection come fightnight. I pity Thompson but admire his physical courage. |

I see nothing special in Thompson, sorry. The fact that he's never been stopped doesn't mean anything - everyone gets hurt, knocked down and out. More to do with luck than physical ability.

This fight has ass whippin written all over it.
If Thompson wants to mix it up, which is his only chance, then he gets taken out under 4. If he plays it safe and go defensive then he'll get taken out in round 8 or so. TT is better than Austin and a couple others Wlad has beaten up on but he's made to order for WKlit. I see a big ko coming for the champ in this fight. |

I pick Thompson.
Since the Peter, Wlad has looked worse in almost every fight. His performance against Ibragimov was BTW, does anyone know who Wlad is sparring with for this fight? |

Wlad by T/KO.
Check Thompson's list of "victims" and compare it to Wlad's . . . and it's not that hard to make a pick. Don't discount an upset though . . . shit things happens in the ring all the time. |

thompson does have a chance I expect him to try to be cautious and take it in the later rounds if he can. To survive and hopefully Vlad will lose his confidence and hope for a miracle. But Vlad will end it before 10

First things first - WTF have the Peter/Brewster/Iggy fights to do with Tony's chances in the upcoming fight? That's right - it has nothing to do...Second, who the hell is Tony Thompson? He sounds like somebody who works in a car showroom ( with Ray Austin)... so that leads me to think that this fight will be over in about 5 rounds. Big right hand.
