Yup, Paduano was bout on par with someone like Collazo.maybe even slightly better.Buchanan may actually have done better moving up to Welter than Hatton.

Ricky doesn't have the chin needed to work his style there.

I hold Kostya in very high regard! He lost to Ricky way past his prime. It may not have seemed so after he cleaned up on Sharmba Mitchell like he did for the second time, but he was past his prime when he fought Hatton. Down on Kostya Tszyu, are you kidding? He's the guy who helped bring us the chicken dance of Zab Judah. That was a golden moment.

McGrain, I actually hold Buchanan in very high regard. He was a brilliant boxer and an ATG.

Yessir, it was.

I think that Tszyu was past his best, but I think he was still OK. It was just the wrong type of fight, Hatton set that ferocious pace. I think that you underestimate Hatton a bit here is my overall point.

Tis indeed, mate. In my view he's one of the greatest boxers, from any weightclass, and era ever: up there with a very select clutch of true elites. Basically through an admiration of his career, fighting style and champions heart in the ring.

Buchanan would beat the hell out of Hatton.Buchanan in addition to being tough was faster then Hatton and Buchanan's left jab would cut Hatton to pieces.

I think Buchanan's technical skills would be too much and he'd stop Hatton on cuts late. Unless Hatton went for Buchanan's weak spot and caught him a good one in the nuts.

Buchanan W12 about 9-3 or 10-2, if 15 rounds, Buchanan stops Hatton in the 13th or 14th.

I think that buchanan would of used his unique boxing brain to tie hatton in knots his speed was special and his phsicail hardyness would of saw him throuth the relentlessness of hattons swarming style when hatton had his moments in a tough contest i say buchanuan ud

Ok, I'll admit that. Hatton's fans and the British press went too far and got to me before that last fight of his with Laczano. I think it was when the guy said something like "enjoy Ricky while he's still around" and how his fans booed the National Anthem just before the Mayweather fight that disgusted me so much, and just the general fact that the British seem to overrate Hatton so much. Before any outraged Briton should respond to what I've just said with their moral outrage, consider that I'm a big fan of Calzaghe, and believe that Lennox Lewis and of course, Ken Buchanan were the greatest, or close to it anyway.

Yes, Hatton has had his moments. I was very impressed by his one punch body shot ko of Castillo, and I think he did what he had to do very well against Kostya, but don't think for a minute that he would have done that against the Tszyu of 5 or 6 years ago.
