yea ive been boxing for a while now but ive always thought of taking up muay tai. it looks sick.

yah. dd u watch the human weapon muy thai episode? one of my freinds brothers tried to beat me upa nd i clinched him and agve him knees my freind said he pissed blood for a week lol

Put it this way, taking a punch to the top of the head is better then taking it straight on the face.

But you dont block punches to the top of your head , you roll head with them like James toney thus negating the power.

You guys do realize that having your head down in the amateurs is a foul right? Do it three times and you get a point taken. Or worse, you could get DQ'd.

lol. u could have justt said that in the beggining. i might use it in MMA tho. and how do yoou roll with a punch at your nose? lean back?

well i have only done 4 things, boxing, kickboxing(k-1 style), wrestling(folk, g-r, freestyle, muy thai, and i am starting up savate in a few weeks

dear christ i understand that, i told u i box also. im just saying that its a technique used in street fighting. i never said its good to use in a match, but i know where hes getting it from and thats from street fighting. either that or some steven segal movies.

Dude younghypnotic lol you train kickboxing, K-! style, Muay Thai AND now your taking up Savate LOL!

You do realize K-1 is all different styles(Muay Thai,Savate, Dutch MT) put into one format, it's not a fighting style.

I mean how did you find the time to train kickboxing and MuayThai enough to becomde profcient? And who with?

Let's not even go into the fact that you've also wrestled folkstyle and greco.
