Was Dick Wipperman a good fighter?

Okay, so maybe the only reason that I started this thread, was because I wanted to here myself use his name in a sentence. Can you blame me? If he wanted to, he could have called himself Dick " the dick wipper " Wipperman.

All kidding aside though, Wipperman was a journeyman who fought during the 60's and lost to good fighters like Frazier, Chuvalo, Bonavena, mathis and Cooper. He retired with a record of 32-14-2-16.

Anyone ever see him fight?
