Default Oscar vs Duran at 147

Oscar now is going to pick on Pacman as his "last fight".

Would he have fought the Duran who was moving up from lightweight and had beat up Palamino?

What do you think the result would be?

Duran decisions Oscar or stops him late, goes "Buchanan" on him a couple times and hits on Oscar's beautiful wife.

Duran by brutale late round stoppage. The main reason Duran got so "up" for Leonard was because of Leonards all American "Golden Boy" image. Against De La Hoya Duran would work himself into an absolute frenzy! And show no mercy, and I hate to say it. But take joy in dishing out pain on Oscar.

You took the words right out of my mouth, although I think Oscar could go the distance and lose by wide decision like Ray.

I had Duran winning by a single point, with Leonard coming on down the stretch and out-fighting Duran for the most part in the championship rounds. Duran's early lead kept him the win though. Fantastic fight.

Im serious here, Duran would stop him, Oscar was at his best when fighting guys who were less skilled, this is true, he never looked brilliant in a fight that he won against one of the guys who can truly be called elite. He also was at his best when he threw flurrys from his own range that he was comfortable with, a good distance for his usually longer arms. This aint happening against Duran on his best welter night, he will make it too close for Oscar, slip things on the inside, Oscar will not like this brutality against one of history's absolute elite, and he will eventually get stopped imo.

I think Duran wins wide BUT don't think he stops him, Oscars a bigger man, great chin at 147, and would move allot and run if under serious trouble. He also has power to keep Duran honest, making Duran think twice about pushing the envelope too far.

In a 15 round fight where Delahoya fades though, who knows

I echo this. Duran by wide UD or late stoppage in a 15-rounder.

Yeah, ur probably right, i do feel strongly about my post though, glad to see you agree on most of my post. I do feel the 'who knows' in your post POSSIBLY applies to a 12-rounder however, i know im in the miinority there though
