On the list of boxers who fought on with horrific shoulder injuries, Danny Williams scored a KO win despite having a shoulder sickiningly far out of its socket. His fist was practically trailing along on the floor.

yes but pushing back against the fighter (such as, you jab I catch it and push back, is illegal and can cause serious injury like he did)

Why do you think, Vitali, Golota supposely, and Holyfield ALL had rotator cuff injuries DURING their fight with Chris?

You can pick apart any one record from guys who could have been great like Vitali to genuine legends like Ali, Holmes, Louis, Harrison and Tyson.

Remember Holyfield gave a prime Lewis all he can handle in their second fight. I would take this version version of Holyfield over Vitali Klitschko.

Holyfield was old and already beaten by Bowe " twise "and Moorer...Tyson was ancient...Mercer was old too..

The difference being that Golota and Holyfield both managed to fight on for the full 12 rounds.

I just hated the idea of that Emeritus status they bestowed upon Vitali.. He is a nobody in the grand scheme of things........

He is just an inflated heavy handed dimensionally gifted guy who lost in a quite gallant effort to an aging Lewis..

The answer to the 1st question is... "Like hell they are.."

Vitali was throwing punches with that arm, even in the final round before he quit.

All he needed to do was not get KTFO by one of the lightest punching HW's in the world for 3 rounds.

I think vitali catches more hell here than he does any kinda praise....ive never heard him claim to be an atg. The man just fights ...he always comes to fight....whats not admirable about that??? That goes for any fighter with that mentality.

I know they all had surgery, and I know that Vitali was able to throw punches with that arm right up to the stoppage, whereas Golota and Holy stopped using the injured arm.

I also know that the Holy and Golota fights were close and they needed to try and win rounds, whereas Vitali was leading and only needed to survive.

Grats he was throwing punches while in immense pain. An 85% tear. He did this for 6 rounds. obviously was dominating Byrd, yet you call him a bitch for quiting?

Jesus ****ing christ. God forgid he would of actually stayed in the fight and ran the last 3 rounds, you'd be calling him a bitch for that too.

Yes he was, but still old..that tells only competition level in that time

We can minimize everyones record and you know that...altought, i must admit that Vitali is overrated if we look at his record

Stop using it?

So Golota and Holyfield didn't throw any punches with that arm at all?

- You dont even know the extent of the damage either of them had in their arm.

Seriously, lets tear your rotator cuff as bad as Vitalis and see how well you do in the ring for 6+ rounds.

They stopped using them except where instinct took over or where they needed to use it tp keep Byrd off. So yes, they used the arm but sparingly and the drop-off was noticable and you could see them wince in pain when they did.

With Vitali, he fought the same way through the entire fight, then quit like a faggot.

Nobody knows the exact extent of the injuries, jackass. All we know is how it affected their performance.
