I've got massive doubts against anybody with boxing skill and the ability to take a punch, but he deserves his day in the sun.

The ability to get in, get your shots off and get out will most likely be the key, though I doubt he has the ability to beat anyone with a longer reach and accurate jab

Not many are likely to have a longer reach or height on him

I think if you've got good foot movement, speed and ability to fight off the backfoot you'll beat him with ease. He struggled with the Cuban lad before Khan, if you take somebody of a higher level he'll make him look like an amateur.

My guess is he's of the Miranda mould, big and powerful but crude and lacking skill. I think he'll lose before he gets to the main men. Probably against a Santa-Cruz type.

As Khan's promoter, I have to take full responsibility for the choice opponent, who was recommended by Rubio.

In retrospect I should never have allowed the match in the first place, because although Amir would have had to fight a puncher, he's still very much a work in progress.

Rubio said Prescott was the right man, but I should have put my foot down.

It's back to the drawing board - but Khan will come again.

Khan may be back on December 6, but his conqueror, Prescott, will be action before that in the UK on one of my shows. I think he can be a star of the future.
