Remember when I said I was just finally watching Martinez/Chavez? Look at the time stamp. I've made it two more rounds. My computer overheated and shut off twice during that time. That's because it's a "special" computer. Most of those two rounds the audio was playing over a frozen video, also.

His story really could get him into the HOF pretty easily, neat as it is, which is something, considering he stepped out of the fokin' Twilight Zone. Quote:

Okay, so, I got to redo four-six. Everything I read about this fight made it seem like Chavez blatantly gave away the fight until he decided to come on strong in the twelfth. What the **** were people watching? This kid's trying, and he is landing some perfectly decent leather. He's not winning the rounds, but this is far from a no-show performance through the first half. He's still getting to dig on the body consistently. He's got very good instincts for that. Martinez is just holding too many advantages over him, in speed, mobility, skill. But, Junior's not close to laying down here. And I think I can see where Martinez hurt his hand, favouring at least in the start of the fifth.

I think he can do better than Barker and I think he's on gear and I think he looked bigger than Cotto and that there is no blueprint and that if his legs haven't gone totally stiff that he can do a Baldomir and that as they are a similar age Floyd won't be going in with someone much fresher and Sergio won't have an overwhelming speed advantage and that Sergio will agree to 155 but that it wouldn't make much difference and that it would be fun and cool and stuff.
Floyd takes a few rounds to work his man out. You could easily say Sergio would cause him way more grief than Zab did. This would be such an intriguing matchup I think. I'd favour Floyd to do it and cement himself as one of the true greats once and for all. I tend not to get my way in life |

No, of course most want the most historically important guy to go up, myself included, but if they fought at JMW, it's still a big one, in my opinion-Floyd and Sergio. I don't think it would happen there either though.
