Default What is you daily/weekly training schedule?

Monday-Run mile
boxing training-heavy bag, circling, shadow boxing, speed bag, defense drills, body sparring, focus mitts, jump rope, punching pad
abs

Tuesday-run mile
boxing training-same as monday

Wednesday-run mile
boxing training-timing bag, slip bag, circling, heavy bag, focus mitts, light sparring drills, body sparring weight training

Thursday-Sparring

Friday-rest

Saturday-same as wednesday/weight training

Sunday-conditioning/weight training

Should I add anything? The reason I spar to the body so much is because I don't have alot of time to go running and try to supplement it
with body sparring.

Monday to Friday:
Boxing training at the gym (mitts, heavy bag, sparring etc.) + Jumping rope...

Monday, Wednesday and Friday:
Gymnastics at the boxing gym.(abs, core strength, push ups etc.) I can also do this on Tuesday and Thursday but that would be too much for the muscles I think, so I keep those days strictly for technical training.

Saturday:
Running + Overall leg strength training with machines + sometimes some extra abs/obliques training. Finishing off with sauna.

Sunday:
Rest

Recently do to a few moves I havent been able to train in any BJJ so im basically just using boxing for my combat training.

Sunday - 20 minutes on the Treadmill, Some Abwork, Just some hard Weight Training using every main muscle group.

Monday - Run 4 miles, 3 rounds Shadow Box with Weights, 3 rounds Shadow Box manily focusing on footwork, Bagwork (Double-End Bag,Heavy Bag), 200 situps, 50 Pushups.

Tuesday - Rest

Wednesday - 25 minutes on the Treadmill then some Weight Training and Abs.

Thursday - Run 4 miles, 3 rounds Weighted Shadow Boxing, 3 rounds footwork Shadow Boxing, Double-End and Heavybag, 200 situps and 50 pushups.

Friday - 15 minutes on the treadmill, Weight training focusing on all major body parts, Then a nice Swim.

Saturday - 3 mile run then I finish up with a 100 yard sprint, Later some simple bag work (Heavybag and Double-End) Ab work.

I have a job now and start next week so soon ill go back to a Boxing or possibly a BJJ gym and get a better workout and try to get some PRO fights.

It's interesting, the variety throughout each person's schedule

anyway,

monday, wednesday, friday - strength training (calisthenics, plyos and weights), and boxing (jumping rope, shadow boxing, sometimes mitts, heavy bag, speed bag) with core and neckwork

tuesday, thursday- sprints, boxing at gym (jumping rope, mitts, some heavybag, sparring)

saturday - some light boxing, maybe a run
sunday - maybe a run, mainly rest

When in the gym how many rounds do you train?

Last night I :
ran 1 mile
4 rds of jump rope
2 rds of show boxing
3 rds heavy bag
3 rds speed bag
1 rd circling
1 rd throw punches while friend blocked @ 30%
1 rd blocking
1 rd sparring to body
1 rd punching big pad

17 rounds does not sound like alot. I was thinking of doing 4 rounds of everything. I think 20-25 rounds should be good.

I generally do 8 rounds on the heavybag, 8 rounds of skipping and 2 rounds on the pads.

Getting back into it after a year out due to a back injury so no sparring as of yet, that will replace a few skipping rounds when I'm asked to do it.

Go to gym tuesday and wednsday. All rounds are 3 minutes, and break is 1 minute. I stretch before I start.

1. Shadow box and dance around ring for 3 rounds.

2. Hit heavybag for 4 rounds, the last minute of each round I punch as hard and fast as I can for the full minute.

3. Do 80 situps in a row on an incline board set at a 45 degree angle with a 5lbs weight on my chest.

4. Jump rope for 4 rounds (no brake for the first 2)

5. Hit the mits for 4 rounds

6. Run on tread mill for 15 min.

7. Hit double end bag for 3 rounds

8. Hit speed bag for 4 rounds

9. Bob and weave under rope for 2 rounds.

This is the usual schedual I have. Obviously sometimes it gets switched up. When I spar, I will drop doing the mits, treadmill (until after wards) and I do everything else, just not quite so long. Like I might only hit the heavybag for 2 rounds with out the all out at the end.

mines pretty basic right now:
1 mile every morning (just started running, knock it up to 2 miles soon)

Boxing gym(every monday, tuesday, and thursday):
stretch, 3x10 push ups, 3x10 situps, 3x10 supermans
6-8 rounds jump rope
4 rounds heavy bag
4 rounds double end bag
When possible, 2 rounds of mitts, sparring, or ring work with another guy...
4 rounds doing what my coach calls "the line", basically jumping over a line different ways, just to get a little easier on my feet and a little extra cardio.

its pretty simple right now, but im trying to get into shape, so i do a lot of jump roping

plan on working A LOT harder when i get my license, so i can be there consistently, and join another non boxing gym so i could do other training

Oh, sometimes I don't do the double end bag, and I do the slip bag, pretty much what ever is up.
