Why the **** is Werdum fighting this nobody? I've never ****ing heard of him. Werdum just beat Vera ffs! He should be steeping up and put in position for a title shot.

Because the UFC idiots gave Mir the shot at Nogueira for whatever reason. And Lesnar the Shot at Couture. Werdum would beat Lesnar, Mir or Couture...but not Nog

Anyone notice how fat Werdum looked? I knoe he wants to bulk up but surely it would be better to put on muscle.

He "bulked up" to compete with the likes of the new-age heavyweight like Lesnar who sit at the 265 limit. Werdum was 256 for this one . . . and paid the price.
