happydrinks & Uzi, thanks for the heads up on that one! The walkabout? I must be getting old, cos I had to ask the missus & she said, "Im sure thats a 'young trendy' pub':scaredas:

if true, then Its good to know as a last resort, but Im an old timer now & would like somewhere a bit more my age, im nearly the big 4-0 now so that place might be a bit too much for me:D

down the pub about 3pm with my bro and a mate who actually likes boxing (**** armchair mates) get smashed, then trot home (live about 40 seconds from the pub) and watch it on SBO, with an Indian takeaway to round the night off, looking forward to it

Yea, that's what I'm saying. Will probably need to watch it again the next day to get a decent perspective on how it all unfolded.

If I had SKY? Thats EXACTLY how I would go about it too. I have one pal who is a fanatic like me, & I only ever watch boxing with him. When it comes to boxing? To have ANYONE in your company on fight night who doesnt know their stuff? Its a nightmare scenario. Usually the non boxing fan has a flippant attitude, they dont respect it like football for instance.

I was going to have a BBQ and invite all sorts over. Then I realised that the pissed *******s will ruin the whole occasion. Now the invites have been strictly limited. Very strictly.

99.9% of the British public have probably never seen a Wlad fight either. Believe me this fight is NOT Bruno vs Tyson or Lewis vs Tyson. And it's going to be a **** fight I guarantee it. Those casual fans who paid for Haye vs Valuev and Haye vs Harrison and going to get another **** fight again and are really gunna wonder just what is the ****ing point in boxing. By the way it's laughable to say this is bigger than hatton vs mayweather. That fight was bigger and more relevant and significant in every single way.
