Where a boxer viewed as a puncher outboxed a boxer, or a boxer knocked an opponent out with one punch. I'm not so much talking about where the underdog won, but when the method of victory was unexpected.

I'm thinking of this because I watched McCallum v Curry recently. Curry was stretching out into the lead there when all of a sudden WHAM, and McCallum the boxer cleaned Curry's clock with one single glorious punch.

    Any more for any more?

I was shocked to see Martinez put Paul Williams away so quickly.

I was shocked to see Nigel Benn go out the way he did against Malinga.

I was surprised at how Mayweather pressed Mosley and pursued him as the aggressor.

I didn't expect to see Montiel get clocked the way he did against Donaire but in hindsight it doesn't seem so shocking.

Fights with truly unexpected conclusions, though not limited to the OP's parameters:

    Tyson - Holyfield II

    Golata - Bowe

    Dirrell - Abraham

Ricardo Mayorga, who was known as just a crude brawler, beating a master boxer like Vernon Forrest (who just came out of 2 Mosley victory) not just once but TWICE.

I did not expect the Arthur Abraham-Andre Dirrell ending.

The Kermit Cintron-Paul Williams ending was quite bizzare.

Griffin--Jones 1 comes to mind. I thought the fight was another mismatch & pretty much along the lines of the Pazienza farce. I did not think Montell had any chance whatsoever giving up that much reach and speed to a guy like Jones. Let alone Griffin was simply not that big of a hitter so if he did manage to land, what overall impact would it have? What I was astonished at was that jab of Griffin's right off the bat. Right down the pipe and untelegraphed and he was stuffing it in there.

Duran and the "No Mas" fight against Sugar Ray Leonard. Never thought I'd see Duran quit in the ring. In spite of that fiasco, I still rank him as one of my ATG fighters to watch.
