haha!! im no ginger! and didnt know how to have a piccy like everybody else has, ive found flights to hannover £320 for two people, i think thats pretty reasonable?

 

mate wheres the flights from please? Im trying to get over there for a reasonable amount of money.Another deal has fallen through due to it costing more than everyone thought( nobody's fault).Really want to go now though!!:|

 

flying out next Thursday morning from Edinburgh to Berlin. Get a train or bus into the city centre and get the train from Berlin to Hamburg.

Then I'll get a taxi to the hotel, it doesn't seem that far away. Get checked in, washed, changed, speak to the hotel staff to get a lay out of the area etc then food a few beers, early bed, up early to go the weigh in on the Friday.

Fight ticket, hotel, flights and train has cost me £500 and that is from Thursday and fly back on the Tuesday.

Travel back to Berlin on the Monday. I haven't got a hotel booked for the Monday, might just wing it, hopefully I can maybe crash at the airport.

 

What time do you get in to Berlin HMS?

 

I think its around 10am ish Gaz.

I wish I'd have started out a bit earlier, we get in Berlin about 5pm and Hamburg if 8 ish. I forgot about "losing" the hour on the plane...

 

Flights were cheaper for the early start, but I do have a bit of a wait in Berlin as my train doesn't leave until about 4pm ish getting into Hamburg around 6pm.

By that time I don't want to **** around trying to understand the train or bus system to get to my hotel so I'll get a taxi to get the hotel as by that point I would have been on the go for about 14 hours.

 

edreams i found that on! i dunno how to get from hannover to hamburg though, trains coming out at like £80 :/ thats flying from birmingham

Have you tried a coach from Hanover to Berlin? The one from Berlin to Hamburg are half the price of the trains but they do take a fair bit longer.

no i havent? im going to look into it now, im not bothering getting a hotel, cant find one close enough and cheap enough
