1990-1994 (Holyfield/Bowe era)

1995-1999 (Holyfield/Lewis era)

2000-2004 (Lewis era)

2005-2009 (Vitali/Wlad era)

Are we allowed to change the eras or are we ranking those eras?

 

I'll attempt to break it down like you have when I have more time,Hook :good My all time favourite years of the heavyweight division,though,were 1970-76.
Ali,Frazier,Foreman,Norton and Young were exciting us all,with Larry Holmes just over the horizon.

 

Please m8, use teh rough half-decade eras i provided in your ranking, or comparison of ranked lists will be impossible.

2. 1990-1994

6. 1960-1964

5-8 is fairly interchangeable to me.

 

M8, Im surpised to see you put 1975-1979 (Ali/Holmes era) above 2000-2004 (Lewis era), is that cos of teh Thrilla In Manilla?

 

Purely because of that one fight.

 

Before I give a complete breakdown,i'll just say that the 1970-74 era is the best,imo. I count it as the Foreman-Frazier-ALI era though. :good

 

I like 90-94 the best. 60-64 I consider the weakest, clearly. I'll have to think on how I want to sort out the guts of the list...

 

My ranking is h2h as usual , except from my P4P ranking and my otherwise stated rankings.
