Rumors of bad camp for Haye

haye is in tremendous shape as always. Calzaghe was in his camp recently and said "he was shocked" at how good he looked with his condition, speed, power etc.

Im sure klitschko is in just as good shape, therefore july 2nd-NO EXCUSES!

Having spoken to someone in the camp everything is great. The person had no reason to lie. It was not a press conference, just a chat in the gym.

I've seen little snips here and there over the last two weeks here in ESB and in other sports news webpages that seem to indicate a weak training camp and trouble in sparring for Wlad. Anyone else noticed that?

It's information overload around here at the moment and about 90% of it could be put down to overactive imaginations.

I've heard nothing at all. Infact I've heard this has been his best camp to date! He is looking really fast and has some shocking power!

 

Why is everyone going on about how he is going to ***** out and run away and sign off the fight. Its tiresome. The guy was unifed Cruiserweight champ and holds a Heavyweight belt. He had to fight in his opponents backyard for both and now he's doing it again for Wlad. And people go on about hows he's a little ***** and going to do a runner when history points to him being the one going out of his way for fights unlike his opponent.
I know he signed out a fight previously with injury but anyone who thinks he would come back so hard chasing a fight with the Klitscho's just to ***** out is not wise.

 

Oh boy, this is going to be a great fight ...

 

Almost any contender in history had to go to the champions backyard to get the title. Why would it be any different in Haye's case.

He has 4 out of 6 titlefights in his own backyard and he only defended his titles 3 times up 'till now... And all those 3 times it was in his home country, once in his hometown even.

So what's soooo special about that? Because some Americans or Brits don't travel, his 2 (soon to be 3) times he had to travel for it is special somehow? Be serious.

 

It doesn't matter what type of camp Haye has had. He's going to find out really quick how different it is to be in with a top heavyweight. He won't do any better than any of the other trumped up challengers Wlad has recently had.

 

Say what you want about Wlads competition but the let's face the facts. Wlad has flat out dominated every opponent he has faced over the 7-8 years. Say what you will about his formula, but that fact is that along the way he has barely lost a single round. He frustrates and destroys his opponents hardly allowing them to land a punch. This is a daunting task for David Haye and he knows it. He will need every possible advantage if he wants to beat W. Klitschko on July 2nd.

Everything I've heard seems intended to either a) lull Wlad into underestimating Haye, or b) goading Wlad into fighting a fight that's not his usual style.

One might translate this as: I can't beat Wlad if he fights like he always fights. I need him to underestimate me and hopefully go against what has worked for him in the past by being overly aggressive. :smooch

 

very much doubt haye had a weak training camp...prob his usuall mind game shite..im sure he knows its wasted on wlad but wat the hell

Calzaghe can FIGHT, so he KNOWS what he's talkin about.
