    Round 2

Suarez is now hooking up high and ducking down low, trying to imitate the waves of the ocean as he tries to drag Vera under but winds up crashing violently on the jagged rocks of shore instead. Vera is looking more patient now, just stepping back and countering with left hooks and high right uppercuts and catching Suarez flush on the chin.

    20-18 Vera

Suarez is game and giving it a good go unlike Kirklands opponent.

    Round 3

Suarez misses some jabs as Vera circles in on him and swings freely, unworried about the power of Suarez. Suddenly that seems unwise as Suarez lands an ENORMOUS left hook. Another. Vera nods to egg him on. Suarez keeps coming, picking himself up off the ground with overhand rights and still working that left hook - tripling it a few times. Vera is jabbing off the back foot now. Vera tries some left upper-hooks, looking playful in there and completely disrespecting the flush bombs that Suarez had landed earlier in the round.

A little less clowning and Vera could still easily be pitching a shutout.

    29-28 Vera

Vera has won all three rounds, but his defense is still pretty bad. He has been tagged quite a bit in this fight.

    Round 4

Vera picks his spots while staying on the outside, using only short and economical movements (none very hurried) to stay at the end of Suarez's reach. Nice jabs and uppercuts from Vera. Suarez is just slapping away at him but can't find anything clean. Suarez gets BEANED by a long combo from Vera.

    10-9 Vera

How the **** is IB simultaniously writing detailed RbR reposts for two fights. What's his secret? Helper monkeys? How is it possible!

    Round 5

Vera backs off and jabs, letting Suarez come to him so he can play the part of counter puncher. Vera seems to be encouraged every time he lands a counter combination over one of Suarez's punches or after making him miss wide. Vera is like a cat with a half-dead mouse. A pair of hooks to the face by Suarez as Vera just gallops backward slowly with his hands down, grinning. Vera is really fond of that jab/uppercut combo and is almost enticing Suarez to hit him so he can have opening to land it (and land it he does, time and again).

    10-9 Vera

    Round 6

Suarez is jumping in place, trying to psyche himself up. Vera is discouraging him with his pesky counter punches, and his laughing off of everything Suarez does get through. Pause. Suarez has a cut check out. He's cleared to go on. Vera now comes forward, jabbing. Lead rights from Vera. Suarez is keeping his hands up, and blocks a few shots before landing a hook. Vera barely takes any notice, coming forward to pound away with his own right and land several jabs to the face. Sloppy 1-2-3 by Vera. Suarez lands a short combo.
