I don't like Ward.. I think he is boring and dirty. On the other hand, I like Eubank and all his wanting to be classy acts were unwillingly funny. However, Eubank would have lost to: Calzaghe, Kessler, Ward, Froch, and perhaps Bute. The division was considered very weak at the time and the Ring paid zero notice to it because it was considered a new ******* division that only the english were interested in.
Yes, Eubank in '90-'91 was leading with rights, hooks and uppercuts and leaping into combinations. Eubank in '92 was 20lbs heavier, leading with the jab and throwing less.
dya think kessler, ward, froch and bute would have outpointed or knocked him out? i honestly dont see either happening.
:deal Great avatar by the way Anarci. We've seen the best of Eubank, but Ward isn't done yet. I think it's 50-50 at this point.
Problem with Eubank is that he could beat Ward but then lose to Kessler, i find it hard to call matchups involving Eubank.
You guys might find my thread on Eubank interesting. Good discussion on what level he was or was not on. This content is protected And for the record, yeah, I think it's too early on Ward, as we've seen Eubank's absolute best and I'm not at all convinced that we've seen that with Ward just yet (I can't wait for the Froch fight).
this is what happens when you post a poll involving a british fighter and a yank fighter in the general forum i bet hardly any of you ever seen eubank.
