Who cares if Matthysse clearly beats Alexander but gets robbed. He will move on since he knows he won.

Mhmm. We had an interesting discussion on it in the Classic section, actually. I won't go into it again but I scored it a draw and felt there was a lot of underdog sentimentality coloring the judgment of the robbery patrol that sounds the deafening alarms whenever the heavy underdog performs as even close to an equal. This one reminded me of a slightly ******ed BHOP/Calzaghe. I'm fine with Devon getting the nod and I would've been fine with Kotelnik getting it too.

Once alexander feels mathysse's power he will be in survival mode knowing that as long as he makes the bell he gets the decision. When alexander is trying to survive matthysse can tee off at will and it will be only a matter of time till alexander hits the floor. I havn't got anything against alexander, he's a good fighter but I don't like the fact that he isn't willing to fight out of st louis. He needs to step his game up and show the hunger every other fighter in the sport shows and fight in situations where the odds are against him as that will bring the best out off him.

Biggest difference is Matthysse isn't feather fisted like Kotelnik. His last two fights have been against southpaws and he is great at landing that right hand to the liver. Hope he pulls a Jirov.

Maybe alexander will have a bit of snot stuck up his nose & wont be able to continue, the guy still looks smug even when he got a gift decision against kotelnik and quit against bradley LOL, but dont worry he can always rely on nice cosy hometown judges, just in case he feels like finishing the fight

Kotelnik didnt get robbed. It was a close fight (I had it draw) but to say Kotelnik clearly won is a dumb comment.

Can Lucas win a decision in St Louis?? Yes, will it be hard to, Yes.

Mathysse is likely to lose 9 or 10 of the early rounds, land a big shot in the 11th and everyone will think he got robbed. Like when he fought Judah.

@Farmy Don't worry bro. One day, very, very soon, the bigots are going to be exposed. After that, I can guarantee you that not only will a black fighter never win another fight over a non-black due to the influence of crooked promoters, paid judges, bought off referees and devious space aliens, but all black fighters will be purged from boxing altogether. After that, you can retire from ESB and lead a peaceful life collecting cans and bottles from the side of the road for spare change and shouting at squirrels.

I don't know. Alexander would rather trade than box, and Mathysse loves to come forward. Should be a great fight. We'll find out who has the better chin tonight.

If you honestly thought he lost 9 or 10 rounds of the Judah fight, there's no point in replying. So, in closing, I wish I hadn't gone to the trouble of replying to this.

If the fight had been 12 rounds Matthysse would have knocked Alexander out, he had Alexander almost out, knocked him down, it as not a close fight, heard boos from Alexander's home town!

    I TOLD YOU SO........................
