It's a disgrace seeing someone in his condition in the ring even if he is fighting a bum.

 

He said he loves the game and he can't stop. leave him be

 

If he turns up in shape for his fight tonight I don't see why he shouldn't fight if he still loves the game

 

The geezer he's fighting is pretty huge but very cocky in the past Danny has been known to give the odd cocky fighter a shock, let's hope we don't see him stuck on the end of a jab for 12 rounds.

 

Didnt Danny say ages ago that he was shot? If he cant pack it all in though its his decision, I dont like seeing fighters go on too long and take a hammering, Danny seems like a n ice guy, hope he can walk away from it all soon!

 

He's not fighting one of the klitschkos but the guy he's hes fighting seems pretty decent 17-0 with 9 ko's

 

I have to be honest I think guys like Williams damage the sport. The BBBoC won't let him fight in the UK and I agree with that, he has no punch resistance at all and you can tell by the way he speaks he has taken a lot of damage.

Fair enough he is fighting nobodies but it only takes one big punch to seriously injure a shot fighter and the press will be all over boxing for the wrong reasons again.

 

:nono Are you serious this is the guy that stood there and took a beating from mike tyson and vitali and kept fighting and now he's getting dropped multiple times by the likes of Carl baker and Derek Chisora. Williams has given a hell of a lot to british and world boxing in general and it will be a disgrace if people now just look the other way when he is in a position where he could end up getting permanently damaged. His punch resistance is completly gone he shouldn't be fighting anymore.

 

Fighting under DPW means he has a boxing license from some country? Im guessing again outside the BBBoC and the EBU yet hes fighting in Germany does anyone know how it works?

Cheers,interesting story,I guess the Latvians are not fussed and are happy to take a licensing fee,but there are reasons why a license is refused , according to the article Danny is fully aware and he doesnt need the money,still this kind of thing has been going on for years, we all remember a failing a British medical half blind Julian Jackson winning a world title in Spain

 

A guy's gotta make a living, but it sounds like Danny soaked up yet another battering last night. I really wish he'd call it a day.

 

Should be fun. Williams has always brought such comical episodes of shattered glass.
