Macklin's got a better chance here than Rhodes did vs Alvarez and Haye does vs Klitschko IMO. Sturm's become one of the most overrated fighters on the Brit forum in recent months. That said, he's still going to win I think, 8-4 type of fight.

 

This Macklin Irish thing has really stuck in your craw!

 

Macklin won't win. I just don't think he's good enough and in Germany - forget about it. Hope I'm wrong though.

 

He's not overated he is a really decent boxer.

This bloke is just hater, saying he is overated whats he on. Massive respect if Macklin wins this one i think it would be one of the biggest wins in a long time.

 

Boxed for the British title but wants to win it for Ireland and the fans. I never remember him wearing green trunks and that at start of career like he does now.

 

I've been watching him nearly 7 years, I know he's decent for Christ sake, but he's still being very much overrated by the vast majority of posters here. He was lucky to get a draw against Griffin and very lucky to get the win against Gevor. On top of that, his jab isn't as good as it's cracked up to be. It's good, but it's not in the upper echelons of the sport, it's made to look better than it is because it's one of the only punches in his arsenal if decent standard.

I stand corrected. Almost as impressive as Narvaez-Urina.
