I want Haye to win and then KO Vitali just so that those annoying as **** klittards will shut up. I think Hayes alright, i always get the impression hes putting it on the hype the fight so i dont get why people get so wound up about it.

EDIT: Also i generally like an underdog especially against a boring champ.

I haven't gotten too involved with the debate on here but I have argued on other sites that Adam Booth has been very arrogant throughout and I think he is behind a lot of the bad publicity stunts.

I thing Haye is essentially a decent guy that has been corrupted and has let himself down by his behaviour. As Henry Cooper said he is driving a lot of people away from boxing just to gain some cheap passing publicity.

To be honest I wouldn't mind seeing the "Know All" creepy Booth getting knocked off his perch.

Does Haye need a wake up call about the reality of HW boxing and respecting the sport......yeah in my opinion.

I hope the fight lives up to the hype. I have a feeling it could be a stinker with Haye doing a lot of running around the ring. I think Hamburg will be a great place to be that night though.

I think this about sums it up for me as well. I'd really like him to win, but if he doesn't it's hardly the end of the world. For the sake of heavyweight boxing it'd be better if Haye won, but if he wins and then calls it quits in a few months, we are back to where we started.

I thought I'd be gutted if Hatton lost to Mayweather, and while I was disappointed that he lost, after a few days I wasn't that bothered.

I'll go and make a thread on the General..."So Wlad beat a glass-jawed, blown-up cruiserweight..."

And if Haye wins.."So Wlad got knocked out by a glass-jawed, blown-up crusierweight..."

Obviously with Haye being a Brit I want him to win BUT I actually like Wlad too and I enjoy watching him fight (shock, horror). It's a massive fight and I can't wait, I'm just glad its finally on.

    May the best man win.

Only time I've been upset at a fight is when Froch got beat. Haye will probably get beat next Saturday but I hope he doesnt

I think Haye's a genuinely nice guy from all the interviews i've seen (and meeting him!).

All the bravado is just to hype the fight.

Im a fan of his as Ive followed him from the early days of his cruiser career and he's been in some really entertaining fights. He hasn't fought great competition at heavyweight so far, but apart from the Klitschkos, what great competition is there?
The Klitschkos haven't even fought great competition!

They're terrible for heavyweight boxing and are boring as hell to watch. The sport would benefit greatly from a Haye win although Wlad is rightly the favourite.

I'll be gutted if Haye loses because there will be very little to look forward to in the division without him. Just more Klitschko snoozefests against poor opposition.

One thing's for sure, if Haye loses I won't be visiting the General forum for at least two months. I can just see those eastern europeans wanking their little pink cocks over the only decent fighters ever to come out of their region, and the talent starved Americans slagging off Haye simply because he's not from the USA.

I find it odd that anyone would be rooting for Haye under the hope that it will "shake up the heavyweight division" or "end the boring Klitschko dominance" ...... I mean, I understand that in principle, but Haye's the last person in the division to have much hope in.

He seems to have been drifting through he last 2 or 3 years, his entire heavyweight campaign, in a semi-retirement or a marketing mission to turn himself into a brand name.
All credit to him if he can pull off the win, but any "Haye era" will be the most stagnant for a long time, in boxing terms.

Give Wladimir some credit, he's unified some belts, fulfilled his mandatories and kept it together. Any inactivity seems to have been genuine injuries, and he's taken on some of the best fighters out there.
If Haye unifies he'll ignore mandatories, dump belts or retire altogether, whether he fights Vitali or not, and that's not the kind of shaking up the division needs.
    In my opinion anyway.
